Soulja Boy makes a (temporary) attempt to recede from all the beefs he's gotten himself into. Here's the latest on the bizarre turn of events.

Lil Yachty and Soulja Boy have piqued the interest of the rap game. Can we call what's happened between them a beef? It certainly has been a struggle to keep up with. And believe it or not, the clash of the friends-turned-foes just got even more absurd.

First off, Soulja Boy has made a peace offering to all of the persons he has sparred with this weekend. In addition to Yachty, that list now includes Southside, 21 Savage, and KeKe Palmer. Southside lashed out at Soulja Boy aggressively (with arms) yesterday -- first in defense of Boat and then in response to Soulja's stick talk.

Soulja Boy and KeKe Palmer had a strange back and forth, which began when he lashed out at Palmer for posting a series of sailboat emojis on her Twitter page.

21 Savage commented on the situation -- a "rap beef," if anything -- on Snapchat -- first jokingly before sternly warning rap fans that none of those involved (perhaps specifically implicating Soulja) could back up their violent threats. Soulja then seemed to ask 21 to put a name on the rappers he was talking about (even though he didn't put a name either). Doesn't sound like a great idea...

21 Savage:

In one video, Soulja says that his peacetime offering is only good for a day. "Just squash the shit, bro," he says, addressing all of his detractors, "'Cause after tomorrow, I hear anything else, we takin' it to the streets, bro."

In another conciliatory video, Soulja addresses Yachty directly, and denies any beef on his part. "Lil Yachty, you know I love you bro," he says with a smile. "I just needed to smoke a blunt bro. You know big Soulja start tweakin' when he ain't got no weed."

There's another clip where Soulja attributes his hostile disposition this past weekend to the lack of drugs in his system. "Yeah I'm back to myself, lean and gas," he says. He then responds to those who said "Soulja Boy was tweakin'" -- "Bitch I was on the road with no drugs!" All of the footage was shared by DJ Akademiks.

Lil Yachty seems to have said his final word on the whole ordeal. Boat shared a video in response to Soulja Boy claiming to have gotten him in tears during a phone call yesterday and threatening to leak the recording. But it was Lil Yachty who ended up sharing the audio of their conversation, during which one can hear Soulja apologizing and attempting to squash the beef.

"As you can see, this n*gga's fried," Boat gloomily tells his fans. "I don't want nothin' to do with it. I'm not gonna say nothin.'"

Soulja Boy's sudden reconciliation attempts are rather remarkable considering how heated he was yesterday.
