For many, 2010's George Kush Da Button was an introduction to the world of Smoke DZA, and 6 years later, a lot has changed, but a lot has stayed the same. The voice of George W. Bush was present throughout the original tape, and now we have another presidential candidate who is similar to Bush in that sometimes he's as easy to laugh at as he is to fear. It's Trump's voice that begins DZA's new project, George Kush Da Button (Don't Pass Trump The Blunt), which finds the Harlem rapper in the same space he was six years ago, only things are a little more widescreen now. ASAP Rocky, Action Bronson, Joey Bada$$, Mac Miller, Roc Marciano, Domo Genesis, The Alchemist, and Pete Rock are all among the contributors, adding further dimensions to DZA's smokey universe. The Kushed God had risen back in 2010, but he's only continued to rise since.
