Skeme's Ingleworld album from 2013 was definitely one of the most underrated releases of that year, it included the really dope Boi-1da-produced "Bullets" which, note to self, needs to go back into rotation.
Since then, the West Coast rapper gained an affiliation to The Game and appeared on his underwhelming Year of the Wolf album, but now Skeme's ready to put his focus back on solo music with Ingleworld 2. It'll likely be both a mixtape (as it's hosted by DJ Drama) and a commercial release (you can purchase this new single on iTunes right now). For the first look, we get the piano-driven "Red Carpet," with production from Sean Momberger that is contrasted by Skeme's gravelly voice. Sounds like a step in the right direction, keep your eyes peeled for more from the rapper.
Quotable Lyrics
