After April fooling fans into thinking that he was quitting rap to host a National Geographic show, Sir Michael Rocks is back today with some brand new music. "Pull Up" is the lead single from his next album, Popular, and it's been shared in video form today.
Showing off the icy shores of Lake Michigan and letting some powerful water sound effects filter into the mix, Mikey Rocks stunts in a fur coat in the video, which was clearly filmed a month or two ago. How does he justify rocking fur while also claiming to love animals? It's simple really, as he told Complex:
"The video came together after Nat Geo wanted to get some shots of me in a more frozen climate to search for the best ice fishing and cold weather wild life. There was a type of wolf called the Tasmanian wolf that went extinct decades ago. Before their extinction, when they were still prevalent, a jacket was made from the fur (cruelty free)."
