Sir Michael Rocks has never been one to conform to popular trends. In an HNHH premiere, he continues to break trends with "Alone," a new visual off his September EP Populair that is less music video and more short film.
Like the song itself, the 7-minute film is not a celebration of any sort of lavish lifestyle, but rather "another gray-ass day in suburbia."
Rocks revels in the mundane -- watching Basketball Wives, going to the mall, eating Chipotle, receiving packages, sending fire tweets but getting no replies. Relatable shit. The casual style in which the film is shot reflects Rocks' brooding yet humorous lyrics.
Also... there is quite the twist ending.
