Shad Da God is currently preparing his new mixtape, Water, which is due out in early May, and today he's decided to share the project's first single. The record is built off of a "Karate Chop"-esque stutter flow, before Shad opens things up for some triplet flows and the like. It's full of catchy phrases and quotables, constantly pushing forward as Shad glides over the propulsive instrumental.

Overall, it fits right in with what's going on in Atlanta right now, but Shad's personality, and flow expertise set him apart from the many rappers coming up alongside Migos and Young Thug.
