Just a few days after dropping off the single “Prolly” with Gucci Mane, Sevyn Streeter decides to come through & share the official video for her lead single off her forthcoming Girl Interrupted album.
Taking a page from the movie Mad Max, the video finds Sevyn doing her thing in an apocalyptic time frame with plenty bikers & fog/smoke surrounding her, while, Gucci makes his appearances thanks to a hologram-esque cameo. Here’s what Sevyn had to say about the video to Fader…
“Though I’m definitely a fan of Mad Max, I honestly can’t take responsibility for this creative vision,” she said. “I gotta hand it to my director Mike Ho! He turned the feeling and vibes I had while writing ‘Prolly’ into reality! I knew the song was unapologetic, raw, and edgy and he created a treatment/environment that brought it to life!”
