Rockie Fresh dropped his mixtape The Night I Went To… almost exactly two months ago, and he’s already back to bless us with another tape. The Night I Went To… Los Angeles is only four tracks, but it’s part of a larger series in which the MMG signee plans to drop a few different tapes in honor of different cities.
The first track is a remix of one of the stand outs from the original The Night I Went To… tape, keeping most of the song intact but adding a verse from Los Angeles emcee Casey Veggies. The next three tracks are all Rockie, but each producer is LA-based to keep with the theme of the tape. “Potential” flips a Jimi Hendrix riff for a particularly dope beat.
