Strange Music rapper Rittz may hail from Gwinett County, GA (Nawfside Atlanta), but if you had to put append a regional tag onto his last two singles "My Window" and "Propane," it would be Houston. Whether it be a funky wah guitar riff or a verse from Devin the Dude, there's been a distinct H-Town flavor to Rittz recent music.
This trend continues on Rittz' newest single "Inside of the Groove," released Monday afternoon. E-40 raps about whipping in the slab over the a bass line that might as well have been sampled from The Commodores. Can you dig it? Rittz' double album, Top of the Line is out May 6. It is now available for pre-order on iTunes.
Quotable Lyrics
Some purple liquid in my cup, no Welch's grape
I got a couple more notches in my belt to make
I gave that bitch my number
I ain't sitting around waiting for my cell to ring
