As many of you know, RiFF RAFF's long-awaited debut album, NEON iCON, is finally dropping on June 24th. Now we've got another new track from it. "Lava Glaciers" was produced by Harry Fraud and features Childish Gambino.
Sampling Nektar's 1971 song "It's All In The Mind," Harry Fraud crafts a spacey sound that's pretty characteristic of NEON iCON overall (get up on that leak, y'all). RiFF RAFF lets loose another one of his standard verses, mentioning bi-curious mermaids, Pistol Pete, Frankie Lymon, Allen Iverson and David Hasselhoff, while Childish Gambino comes through with some intelligent, self-deprecating bars.
Stay tuned for the rest of NEON iCON -- it's even more bonkers than this.
Quotable Lyrics:
Louie suitcase, with the singing hook like Frankie Lymon
Should I choose the Baywatch, David Hasselhoff hair
Or the Allen Iverson braids, zig zags all designer
Soft and beautiful face with the puzzle piece liner
