Rick Ross decides to release his new album "Mastermind" one day early.

Rick Ross' new album Mastermind was originally supposed to arrive on March 4th, tomorrow, however Rozay has decided to push it up a day and released it today, on March 3rd.

He now joins Pharrell's G I R L album, which also dropped today. Both albums have been streaming since last week though, and thus most fans have already heard either LP which is possibly why Rozay decided to throw it out a day early, or perhaps he's vying for the #1 Billboard spot, and feels threatened by G I R L.

A listening session for Mastermind was held in Dekalb County last night, and as we reported on earlier today, a shoot-out that occurred at the event has led to a DJ being injured. This is one of two recent shootings we've heard of in the past day, as a party in Charlotte, NC hosted by Diddy, Future and Fabolous also ended when shots were fired.

Have you pre-ordered Mastermind or will you be copping it today? If you've given it a listen, what did you think? Stay tuned for our review of the album arriving tomorrow.

Stay on the lookout for first week sales projections for both Mastermind and G I R L. Who do you think will lock down #1 on the Billboard 200?

With the announcement of the push up came a teaser for the "War Ready" video with Jeezy, which you can watch below.
