Rick Ross was among the hip-hop royalty present at tonight's American Music Awards. He entered the red carpet donning a black sweatshirt that read, "RATHER YOU THAN ME," which he soon revealed to be the title of his next album, the follow-up to Black Market, released almost a year ago. During the award show, Ross would join DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, Future, and August Alsina for a performance of "Do You Mind," their collaborative single off Khaled's Major Key album.
Also during the show, Rozay would go on to announce his new album on his social media pages. In a video clip posted to Twitter, he revealed that he plans to release Rather You Than Me in early 2017. He also warned his fans, "There will be bloodshed." In that clip plays his newly released track "Kyrie." The album will also likely include his new single, "Buy Back the Block," featuring 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane.
Ross went on to share what could be the Rather You Than Me album artwork, which shows him sitting in front of a backdrop put together by French street artist Mr. Brainwash. The photo also affirms that Rather You Than Me will be the ninth album of Rozay's career. This summer, he celebrated the 10th anniversary of his classic debut, Port of Miami.
