Earlier this week, Atlanta rapper Rich the Kid, signed to Quality Control, announced he would soon be unveiling his own label as well as his first signee. Today (Mar. 6), he has done just that. He has named his label Rich Forever Music, and his first signee is a promising one: buzzing Chicago rapper Famous Dex.
The announcement comes four days after Rich and Dex collaborated on "Hell Yeah." "Signed my first artist today," Rich wrote on Twitter. "God changed my life to change others." He also sent us a photo of him and his new signee, which you can check out in the above gallery.
Looking back on Rich's insane hustle over the past year or so, there's no reason his new venture shouldn't be a full-fledged success. Rich Forever Music should also help in solidifying the longtime connection between Atlanta and Chicago, which has been an exciting partnership for the rap world to witness.
Congrats to the new team at Rich Forever Music!
