Rich the Kid just announced that he and iLoveMakonnen have finished a mixtape together. The tape will be called Whip It Up, and it should be released in the near future. Along with Migo Thuggin and Coke Zoo, we've got a few collaborative projects to look forward to.
He has since shared two alternate mixtape covers, one that shows Makonnen's signature mannequin head ("Martha") drawn in cocaine. Rich has been prolific lately, dropping off his strongest tape yet, Flexin On Purpose, at the end of August, and he recently scored a killer feature on PartyNextDoor's "Routine Rouge."
We haven't heard much of Makonnen since March's Drink More Water 5, which featured a hit collab with Rich the Kid and Rome Fortune, "No Ma'am." Rich and his Quality Control crewmates Migos also remixed the DMW5 cut "Whip It," so expect Whip It Up to continue to same brand of zany trap music. The tape is executive produced by OG Parker and Richie Souf.
