Buzzing Berkely rapper Rexx Life Raj has been rolling out new music over the past few weeks in anticipation of his new project Father Figure, and now that time has officially arrived. Set to drop at midnight on iTunes, Father Figure can now be streamed in its entirety ahead of time (below) here on HNHH.
Laced with 13 records in total, the project features guest appearances from Nef The Pharaoh ("Moxie Java"), Christian Crow, & ymtk. Meanwhile, production is handled by Rexx himself, Ian Mckee, Kyle Betty, and more. Here’s what Rexx had to say about the album in its premiere release with Noisey:
“This project is a about growth. Growth in the music I'm doing and personal growth. It's about giving some of the game that I've learned over these last few years to whoever is listening. To me a Father Figure is someone you look to for guidance, someone who gives game and drops gems. That's what I wanted to do in this project.”
