Remy Ma has quickly immersed herself back into the rap game since her prison release the other month, and thus we've seen Remy Ma stop by basically every notable hip-hop media outlet. She's spoken quite a bit on what it was like inside, and she's even hopped on the remix to DJ Khaled's "They Don't Love You No More", surprising people with her verse. This past week Remy kept the promo rounds alive as she paid a visit to MTV News, and revealed she's got a mixtape up her sleeve.
It sounds as though we'll be getting a new tape from Remy relatively soon, as the New York rapper says she's trying to have it finished by this weekend in order to be able to give it to the masses next week.
"I’m trying to have it done by this weekend, so I can put it out next week," she told MTV News on Wednesday. She also made it clear that her focus right now is on herself, not on giving other people features or collaborating. She also said that following the mixtape we can expect an album.
The mixtape is set to be titled I'm Around. Keep your eyes peeled for it, and watch the MTV interview below.
