Reebok Classics is doing so many dope things with Allen Iverson's Reebok Question in honor of the sneaker's 20th anniversary including the Jadakiss inspired "A5" colorway and this pair, a collaboration with the Entertainer's Basketball Classic (EBC) founder, Greg Marius.
20 years ago on June 18th 1996, Iverson wowed the crowd at Harlem's historic Rucker Park alongside Coney Island's own Stephon Marbury, and this golden pair of Questions is a nod to the EBC uniforms that were worn on that night.
The EBC x Reebok Question Mid features a jersey-inspired mesh build on the upper, furry suede overlays on the toe and heel, and navy leather accents throughout which ties everything together. Additionally, the kicks feature special edition "Standing Room Only" text on the heel, signifying the over-capacity crowd at the Rucker on that night 20 years ago.
Sneakers are always better when there's a story behind them and this is one of the coolest Questions to date for that very reason. You can score a pair for yourself on August 5th at select Reebok retailers as well as Reebok.com.
