Ray J has had some truly odd interactions with police recently. A few months back, he kicked out the window of a cop car, and spit in an officers face, and this Wednesday, he was asked to take a few photos with some LAPD officers-- which landed them in quite a bit of trouble.
The "I Hit It First" singer was pulled over in San Fernando Valley when he appeared to be texting and driving. When questioned by officers, J argued that he was simply trying to set up his phone's bluetooth. Things looked as if they might go a similar direction as his last incident with police when he was asked to step out of the vehicle, but it turned out the officers just wanted to take some photos with the celebrity, and let him off the hook.
While Ray J got off clean, the cops are in some hot water. The LAPD has just launched an internal affairs investigation over the incident, as its protocol that photos not be taken with someone who has been pardoned, which suggests a bias from the officers.
Meanwhile, Ray J is still facing charges for his previous arrest.
