Brown Sugar

Ray J nabs a feature from Lil Wayne on "Brown Sugar."

We haven't gotten a new Ray J solo track since last August's "ATM," but just in time for summer, the "I Hit It First" crooner returns with another heater. This one's called "Brown Sugar," and features a verse from none other than Lil Wayne

Kicking off with some lush piano lines and auto-tuned chipmunk vocals, the song goes on to incorporate an unhurried, but nonetheless booming, beat. Like songs by The Rolling Stones and D'Angelo that share the exact same title, "Brown Sugar" refers to a woman's skin tone. Not very original, but it's smooth.

Let us know if you're feeling this one.

Quotable Lyrics

I'm a junkie for your love girl, your body like 'base
I got some cocaine on the mirror, you could powder your face
I told her take her panties off, she said 'what are those?'
'Bout to play up in that sugar like the Sugar Bowl
