Ralo's profile went up at the end of last year with his Diary of the Streets mixtape, which featured Thug, Future, as well as some crazy production credits. Here's the video to the song with Thug, "I Know," and it's directed by the head of YSL's visual team, Be El Be.
The video's not too crazy -- compared to some of Thug's, but there's a nice aesthetic going on. Part of it is shot inside a grand, opulent mansion, and the rest on the freeway, in the back of a cream-colored luxury automobile that looks like it's from the '40s.
Ralo's voice is different, maybe initially off-putting -- but that's what they used to say about Thug. As the song goes on, there's a real inspiration about his flow, and he delivers a memorable hook. Plus, as usual, the Wheezy production is on point.
