Deeper Than Rap

R-Mean has been releasing new music every Monday as part of his Mean Mondays series, and he's shared yet another track today. "Deeper Than Rap" continues down the gritty, traditional lane of rap he's been carving out throughout his career. On top of his personal storytelling, he also lays down an emotional hook, while KXNG Crooked adds some stylish West Coast flows to the mix.

R-Mean paid tribute to two of his heroes, Nas and Eminem in his Nas and Em mixtape last October. The project found him going in over classics like "Made You Look" and "The Way I Am."
