After his wife confessed to having an affair, Hinds County Deputy Kenny Bryant launched a lawsuit against R. Kelly. Fox News reports Bryant claims "emotional, psychological and financial loss" after the singer allegedly led his wife astray. According to the lawsuit, the Pied Piper of R&B even gave her chlamydia.
Bryant's wife Asia Childress reportedly had had a fling with R. Kelly prior to their wedding in July 2012. Their illicit romance rekindled when she went to his concert in October that same year. Childress convinced her husband to quit his job in Mississippi to move to Atlanta. She said it was to further his career, but Bryant believes it was to continue her affair with Kelly.
In the lawsuit, he claims his wife traveled many times to nearby states to attend R. Kelly shows and hook up with the "Bad Man" crooner. The Trapped in the Closet star has yet to comment on the allegations.
