Pusha T's release of King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude at the tail end of 2015 gave many fans the hope that King Push would drop soon thereafter. It did not. There is now a semblance of a timeline: in a new interview, Pusha mentioned that he plans to release King Push this spring.
In 2016, he put out the summer single "Drug Dealers Anonymous" and a pair of tracks in October, "H.G.T.V." and "Circles."
In the interview he added that Kanye West and Teyana Taylor are both working on their next albums. This statement goes against a recent statement by Kanye mentor Malik Yusef that the rapper is not currently working on any new music and rather is focused on his health and family.
