As reported by MissInfo, G.O.O.D. Music's Pusha T has revealed new details about his upcoming debut solo LP, My Name Is My Name. During an interview with Fuse at the Coachella music festival in California, he named 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Re-Up Gang, Future, Kanye West and Kendrick Lamar as the guest appearances on the album. He also mentioned that Hudson Mohawke, The-Dream, Pharrell, Kanye, Rico Beats, Nottz, Don Cannon and Swizz Beatz are handling the production.
As for as the general sound and feel of the record, Push spoke of his greatest influences, citing Biggie, Ma$e and Cam'ron:
"'Life After Death,' 'Harlem World' and 'The Purple Tape' are the perfect moods in description of diversity of what I want to hear in rap; the raw RZA edge, the lyricism of Biggie, the arrogance of a Ma$e in Harlem World. I even want to give you a little bit of R&B."
Well, we're intrigued. Who's looking forward to this project? Watch the interview and listen to Pusha's latest ("Numbers On The Board") below:
