While out promoting his upcoming album, The Infamous Mobb Deep, Prodigy made his way by Sway's Morning show on Tuesday and revealed some big news regarding an upcoming collab with The Lox.
During the sit-down interview, Prodigy revealed that he and Havoc just recently collaborated with The Lox for a new song. P announced that the song will be for the upcoming Lox LP, and is actually the first time they ever did a song together.
“We just did a Mobb Deep/ Lox song for their album. It’s the first time we ever did a song together.”
Sway then followed that up by asking if they all reunited in the studio to work together or if they had the verses emailed? Prodigy said “We emailed it, I had done a show with Styles in Brooklyn, and maybe a day after that we did the song."
So we’re looking at Sheek, Jadakiss, Styles P, Havoc, Prodigy all on the same track here soon. That’s going to be a big one.
Mobb Deep’s album arrives April 1st. No word yet on The Lox release date.
