There appears to be another reason for Pharrell to be "happy". The Neptunes hit-maker has signed on to be a coach for next season's “The Voice”.
Taking to twitter earlier on Monday, NBC announced that one of their big red chairs will be filled by the current man of the year, Pharrell.
“Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7,” tweeted “The Voice.”
“This is going to be so fun,” added Pharrell, who previously appeared as an advisor alongside Usher during season four.
Pharrell will be taking the spot from Cee-Lo Green, who has left show after a 4-year reign. The three other coaches for next season have yet to be announced.
So lets wrap Pharrell’s year real quick thus far. We have a four-time Grammy winner, releases G I R L album, signs to Adidas for clothing and shoe deal, and he's launching his first fragrance as well? Damn, when it rains, it pours. #Winning
