It's hard to believe Outkast has been on hiatus since 2007. Ever since putting the project on hold, fans have anticipated a reunion for the duo, but so far there's been no sign of it (or a 3 Stacks solo album for that matter).
According to sources close to Billboard, there is a strong possibility that a reunion could finally happen at next year's Coachella music festival. Word of the performance has varied from the group being in "some conversations," to "all systems go" for the reunion.
So far reps for Outkast and Coachella have not responded to the rumors.
Stay tuned for updates. Do you think it'll happen?!
[Update: A 2014 Outkast Reunion Tour Has Been Confirmed]
Hours earlier, it was being reported that Outkast was to be reuniting at next year's Coachella music festival. Well good news to report, it's more than just that.
Revolt TV has officially confirmed that the ATL duo will be in fact going on a reunion tour next year, meaning that Coachella will be followed with more Outkast shows. There are also rumors circulating that Outkast will be performing its Idlewild album in its entirety while on the road.
2014 will also mark the 20th year anniversary of Outkast's debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik. Seems like perfect timing.
