In a Pro Era squad that's chock full of prodigious lyricists, Nyck Caution might be the fastest and most furious spitter. After sharing the Joey Bada$$-assisted, Chuck Strangers-produced "World In Your Pocket" last month, he returns today with "Vulcan," a much more unforgiving, high-octane romp.
Produced by Mike Gao, the track begins with some video game synths and a hyperactive beat, lending itself to some speed-rapping from Caution over the course of a verse and two hooks. We then transition to a much slower, trippier part-- not unlike many songs on A$AP Rocky's A.L.L.A.-- showing us that on his upcoming album, Caution will be focusing on much more than mere #BARS.
Quotable Lyrics
I been outta my mind, too professional
Why you frontin' like your rhymes are acceptable?
'Cause if you gettin' out of line, talkin' about your mixtape
When every line is ejectable
