ATL trapper Nessly has dropped a new track, "Vogue," that, judging by the artwork, is partly inspired by the appearance of a model on the recent cover of Vogue España. Nessly generated some well-deserved buzz when his recent track "Giddy Up" got played on OVO Sound Radio last month, and "Vogue" is another example of an exciting, fast-paced take on the melodic trap wave.
"Vogue" is produced by 16 yr old (Aaron Cartier & Pollari's "Rita Ora) and Clibbo (Nessly's "Lingo Lingo"). The production is made up of a soft piano loop, hard trap drums, and a rumbling bass. Nessly weaves in and out of all the murkiness, firing off quick, stop-start punchlines, retaining a melodic cohesiveness throughout.
Quotable Lyrics
I'ma be the one to tell 'em
I'ma let these bitches know
I got 4 bitches from Yeezy Season 3 talkin' like they was in Vogue
I know you hate on the low
I had to crack open the code
