Mr. Green is one of those producers who always seems to fly under the radar but consistently churns out quality beats. Recently he released the video for "Clap," in which he samples a Peruvian flute band performing on the streets of NYC and enlists Freddie Gibbs wearing a GTA V varsity jacket, Chill Moody, and Apollo the Great to spit on the resultant beat.
"Clap" is a single off Live From The Streets, Mr. Green's compilation album set to drop on April 7th. The album is a compilation of songs amassed over the course of Mr. Green's web series "Live From The Streets" in which he travels the world meeting street performers and transforming their sounds into hip hop instrumentals. It will feature the likes of KRS-One, Matisyahu, Vinnie Paz, and Malik B.
