In an interview released today on VIBE, Mike Dean mentioned that he's currently working on Travis Scott's next album. Additionally, Dean says he's working with Rick Ross, and is almost done executive producing CyHi The Prynce's album. Here's the full excerpt:
"I'm doing some stuff for Kai. Me and Travis are working on another project. I’m about to go in on some other sh*t. Dice Soho, I’ve been working with him. Houston takeover hopefully. I'm going in the studio with Rick Ross, and going to executive produce Cyhi The Prynce album. His album is dope, I'm about to finish it."
Mike Dean co-produced six tracks on Travis Scott's last LP Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, and helped record, mix, and master the entire project. Dean mentions in the interview that Travis actually came on the Pablo tour with Dean just to work on Birds In The Trap. Here's what Dean had to say about the album getting snubbed by the Grammys.
"It’s crazy really. It was one of the most highly-anticipated albums this year, in addition to TLOP and Blonde."
