Girls love Miguel. Which makes him a perfect addition to HBO's "Girls" Soundtrack, for which his new effort "Simplethings" will appear.
The song begins with some unaccompanied electric guitar, reminiscent of the one kinda hilariously mood-breaking (but still awesome) track from Adorn, "Pussy Is Mine", before launching into a driving ballad once the drums kick in.
The song celebrates the simple things in life, which--in Miguel's world--are weed and sex, naturally. The singer's unparalleled falsetto work is also on display in the song's powerful crescendo.
The soundtrack will be available February 11th, and season 3 of the show is currently airing on HBO.
