When all three Migos were arrested at Georgia Southern University in April, on charges of guns and drugs, many pointed the finger at Noisey and their "Atlanta" documentary which starred the rappers. The rappers were seen waving around firearms in the video, which took us inside the gated Atlanta community where the three rappers apparently resided.
However, during an appearance on ESPN's Highly Questionable last night, promoting the upcoming YRN album, Quavo and Takeoff denied that anything we saw in the "Atlanta" episode was even real (perhaps to the betterment of their ongoing legal issues, and Quavo's case, as he remains locked up).
"It was a movie, they put us in that house. It was a movie, we acted it out," the duo said on ESPN, saying that they were given a script to act out. "It was role-playing, that wasn't our house in the first place."
"The guns and all that, nah," Quavo said, when asked what was real. "Ya'll tryna get us in a pickle," he added.
What do you guys think? Was it all scripted, or are Migos just changing their tune?
