Future is one of the hottest rappers out, and part of that has to do with the sheer volume of music he's released in the last year -- but it wouldn't mean anything if the quality wasn't there too.
Metro Boomin, one of Future's closest collaborators, feels his boy Hendrix has encouraged rappers to flood the streets with mixtapes, but he has some advice -- if you're not Future (or Wayne or Gucci), it's probably not for you.
"Everyday I wake up, new mixtapes are falling out of the sky.. I think we all know where the trend came from lol," he wrote, suggesting that rappers focus on perfecting their craft before they decide to become prolific. "Moral of the story is, putting out 5 tapes in a year won't make you heat up like Future. That was just his path. It's not for everyone."
