A while back, Meek Mill shared some cover art from his upcoming mixtape DC4.5, a follow-up to his successful DC4 project that climbed the Billboard charts last fall. Sunday night, the Philly rapper shared some new music on Instagram that sounded like fire. In the video, Meek and an associate are seen blasting a snippet from the new tape.
Despite the bad publicity Meek incurred in recent weeks -- the breakup with Nicki Minaj, the boxing challenge to Drake taken up by Safaree, the icy fall caught on video -- DC4.5 remains on most hip hop fans' radar due to the success of DC4. The project went all the way up to the third position on Billboard 200 charts. Meek announced its follow-up merely a week after it was released. No doubt, he wants to build on that good momentum for a change.
