It's been just over a year since Meek Mill got out of prison, during which he dropped a No. 1 album and got himself into a serious relationship with Nicki Minaj, but, today, the MMG spitter implied that he might be heading back. "I'm actually fighting for my life and freedom," he wrote on Instagram.
According to TMZ, Meek was scheduled to appear in court this morning (Dec. 10), for allegedly violating his probation. This seems to be the case, as, in the above Instagram post, Meek explained that he was still dealing with the consequences of a charge he picked up when back he was 19 years old.
"Something I've been going thru from a case I caught at 19 years old and been on probation since... I am 28 now ... It's funny to see people on the internet laughing and joking about me and my family going thru these things, it's just shows me where the world is at nowadays!" he included in the lengthy post.
He also wrote, "If this is my last post know I will continue to remain strong and grow to b a better man and set a example for every minority with a dream that anything is possible!"
Court documents from early November reveal that Meek is not allowed to leave Philadelphia without receiving a travel voucher, and TMZ posits that he may not have been granted permission to attend the American Music Awards, which took place in L.A. on November 22.
We're praying for you, Meek.
