"Everybody know I'm the wavy daddy."

Max B, who has been incarcerated on murder charges since 2009, reentered the spotlight last week when Kanye West changed the name of his album to WAVES. Max B, of course, is the originator of "the wave," and Kanye's change riled up a horde of Max B fans, most notably from Wiz Khalifa, who tweeted, "Please don't take the wave."

Amidst the ruckus, Max never got a chance to weigh on the situation himself, until this morning, when he called into The Breakfast Club. Was he feeling Kanye new albums' title???

"It's all love. I appreciate it," he said. "I'm flattered that dudes is even acknowledging the situation. Everybody know I'm an innovator. Everybody know I got imagination. I come up with these words and these slogans and these catch phrases and it's all good when the people follow suit. I like Kanye, I appreciate it. I love it, thank you."

Max said he is more than happy to be a well of inspiration for Kanye and that he regards WAVES as a tribute, of sorts. "He ain't drop a diss record, he just called his album WAVES. And everybody know I'm the wavy daddy."
