Widely-despised pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli appeared at a congressional hearing today as part of a subpoena for raising the price of AIDS drug Daraprim by 5,000%. Rather than defend his actions or provide any information whatsoever, the "pharma bro" instead opted to plead his fifth amendment rights to every question asked of him. He was able to do so because of a separate fraud investigation that's being led by the FBI.
With each non-response, Shkreli seems to enjoy himself more and more. It's infuriating to watch, but we can think of one person who has pointed out the absurdity of the situation before...
