This year marked the 21st anniversary of Mark Morrison's 1996 smash "Return of the Mack."
The song has honestly stood the test of time, but naturally, it could not and would not experience the height of its success forever.
Now, following the debut of Burger King's latest marketing move, the track has seen an impressive sales increase by 519 percent.
Rolling out the return of their deep fried Mac N' Cheetos menu item, the fast-food joint used Morrison's "Return of the Mack" in its latest commercial in a comical and nostalgic effort at drawing a crowd to its doors.
We're not quite sure how it's going for them, but for Mark Morrison, business seems to be booming as "Return of The Mack" has once more found itself on Hip Hop/R&B charts, hitting #20 this week after moving 11,183 units in single sales in comparisons to 1,800 last week.
Return of the mack, indeed.
