Mac Miller is getting ready to drop his major label debut, and at the Grassroots festival in Omaha, Nebraska last night, he shared the first single from the project. From the performance, "100 Grand Kids" doesn't exactly sound like a compromise from what Mac was doing with his last album, but it is pretty catchy, at one point interpolating Diddy's iconic "Bad Boys For Life" hook.
As far as when the album is coming, it's yet to be announced, but from Mac's recent comments it sounds like it'll be out before the end of the year. We'll have to wait and see if he decides to go the surprise root. What do you think of the new track?
