While we wait on new cuts from Lupe Fiasco's anticipated album Testuo & Youth (all we've heard thus far is "Old School Love") he's decided to give us an ignant look with "Thot 97." This follows up the more conscious "Piru Blues" which was a throwaway from his 2012 release Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album.
"Thot 97" references New York radio station Hot 97 and Lupe even shouts out their program director Ebro Darden, while he spits over Que's "OG Bobby Johnson" instrumental.
Lupe revealed recently that we can look forward to features from Joey Bada$$, Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., Glasses Malone and more on Testuo & Youth. We'll keep you posted.
