Lil Yachty is one the most interesting & polarizing artists in the game right now, having built an extremely loyal fanbase on the internet over the past year or so thanks in part to his debut effort Lil Boat. Having been independent throughout his early run, the ATL artist now has a new label to call home… Quality Control.
On Friday, QC’s COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee & CEO Pierre “Pee” Thomas posted a picture with Lil Yachty along with a caption welcoming the Atlanta rapper to the label, “We build STARS. #QCtheEmpire welcomes Lil Yachty.” Yachty later also confirmed the news on twitter himself, thanking his fans in the process.
“I am where I want to be, QC The Label,” He tweeted. “It’s Official.” “I just want to thank all my fans.. For being there for me,” Lil Yachty wrote. “This is literally only the beginning. Big Things Coming Soon. Summer Songs 2 Otw.”
