Lil Wayne is ready to sue. According to a report from TMZ, the YMCMB boss is willing to take Martin Shkreli to court if he leaks any more music from his Carter V album.
TMZ was told that Weezy's lawyers and Universal Music both sent out cease and desist letters after Shkreli leaked a couple tracks earlier this month, including one with Kendrick Lamar called “Mona Lisa.” Shkreli actually first played the record online back around Christmas time, but Wayne didn’t sue because Martin promised not to leak it or never play it again, but obviously that didn’t last.
Weezy’s camp believes Shkreli has been leaking the music simply for attention, but now he’s been warned, next time will end up costing him big bucks.
In other related Weezy album news, T-Pain got some fans crazy excited Wednesday night when he hinted & teased at his long awaited T-Wayne album with Lil Wayne was dropping soon (see here).
