Lil Wayne has been released from Cedars-Sinai hospital on Monday.

Lil Wayne is heading home. The YMCMB boss has been released from the hospital after suffering from a seizure last week.

Taking to twitter, the Young Money President, Mack Maine, tweeted the good news and thanking the staff at Cedars-Sinai hospital for Weezy's time while having to be there.

Weezy was admitted to the hospital after suffering a seizure last Tuesday, according to Birdman. He was released from ICU on Monday and was eating and walking on his own. Birdman spoke with Angie Martinez earlier today over at Hot 97 and added: "He's doing much, much better and he's in good shape right now". Birdman has also denied reports of Wayne's seizure being from a drug overdose. Instead, he attributed it to a grueling work schedule and lack of rest.

[UPDATE: It should also be noted, Mack Maine denied speaking to anyone at XXL about Wayne's tweets, as we reported previously. XXL has yet to comment on the situation.]

Welcome home Weezy!

The Weezy we know and love took to Twitter this afternoon to let us know that he's "feeling much better", also thanking everyone for their prayers and support. He seems to be in good spirits, having also tweeted about chuckling over ESPN2's 'Highly Questionable'.

Here's hoping Wayne starts taking his health more seriously - we all got quite the scare on Friday night. Peep the tweets below:
