Gothboyclique member and Lil Peep affiliate, Lil Tracy drops his second mixtape of 2017 Life of a Popstar. The follow-up to April's XOXO has Tracy mixing trap production with emo/pop-punk melodies. The eight track mixtape shows how Lil Tracy is slowly becoming one of the dominant forces in this new wave of emo rap. Production on the tape is predominantly handled by BigHead as well as credits going to Captain Crunch and BetterOffDead, among others. Tracy recruits the likes of up-and-comer SmokePurpp as well as Duwapkaine for some fire cuts on the tape.
This project definitely has heaters, top to bottom. He's definitely an artist worth keeping an eye out for in the future.
