Lil Kim has definitely changed since she first arrived onto the hip-hop scene. The artist has transformed musically, as well as physically. It's the latter changes that are getting her in the news, as MediaTakeOut recently posted a story claiming that the femcee's face was physically distorted during a recent appearance at MTV's RapFix Live.
Lil Kim appeared on RapFix Live on Wednesday with her new artist Tiffany Foxx. Following the episode MediaTakeOut posted an unflattering story about Kim's looks, a story which "implied that Grammy Award Winning HipHopstress Lil Kim was physically distorted." Now the rapper's publicist, C.J. Carter has responded to MediaTakeOut's allegations.
C.J. said of the story, "As of yesterday a story surfaced on the ever so popular, but NEVER credible blog site Media Takeout, the story implied that Grammy Award Winning HipHopstress Lil Kim was physically distorted and even went so far as to graphically edit photos to add some type of validity to their story, that can only be described as fictitious, malicious, and despicable."
The publicist says that they are taking MediaTakeOut's story very seriously, and defended Kim's appearance. "We would like to inform fans, the media, and the general public that this is nothing more than the blog site doing its best to conjure up much needed publicity and what better way to do so, than to take an American music icon and create a fictitious platform in which to disrespect and humiliate," Carter added. "We at Team Lil Kim are not taking this lying down and are taking this matter very seriously."
What do you think of Lil Kim's appearance? Is the media being too cruel about it?
