When DeJ Loaf's "Try Me" first started getting traction, many compared her understated melodies (which gave way to rather agressive lyrics) to Chicago drill star Lil Durk. The rapper obviously caught wind of this, or perhaps like the rest of us just REALLY liked the song, as he's now recorded his own version of the runaway hit.
Leaving Loaf's hook on the record, Durk begins by harmonizing with the Detroit spitter, before giving us some of his own melodies on the verses.
Durk dropped his highly anticipated Signed To The Streets 2 mixtape earlier this year, and is still preparing his Def Jam debut.
Quotable Lyrics:
Try me, try me
Bullets got his name on it like an ID
Sippin' on that lean, it's like my IV
My Krazy Life, I feel like YG
