In the past few weeks, Lil Durk has released two politically-charged tracks -- first "Eyes," a heartfelt collaboration with Talib Kweli and James Fauntleroy that was put together for charity, and then "See Me Down," a painful but ultimately inspirational song that found him effectively paired with Jadakiss. Durk shows up solo on his latest track, "Baller," will be more familiar to his fans. He rattles off cool, melodic lines about what he can do for his woman, and his seamless delivery makes his boasts sound especially credible. The gentle trap production comes from TyMadeIt.
The song will presumably appear on Durk's next tape, They Forgot, which doesn't yet have a release date. Durk is currently on tour in support of his latest album, July's Lil Durk 2X. Check out dates here.
