Check out Lil Bibby's newest track, "Dead Or In Prison".

Lil Bibby is one of the most promising young artists coming out of Chicago, which is certainly saying something. The 19-year-old rapper made his name rapping alongside fellow fury-spitter Lil Herb, and both of the Chi-town emcees dropped their debut projects within the last 6 months.

Bibby was always the more introspective member of the duo-- the Malice to Herb's Pusha T. There's a part of him that feels like an old-soul-- partly because his voice literally sounds like that of someone 20 years his senior.

The Free Crack rapper seems to be continually transcending his drill beginnings, as "Dead Or In Prison" finds him opting for a visceral beat that doesn't stray too far to his past work, but is far more lush-- adding a little more depth to Bibby's world-weary musings.

His upcoming EP, The Book is due out soon. Read our exclusive interview with Bibby, where he details The Book and more, here.

Quotable lyrics:
They see a young nigga stuntin'
Now they want you killed
Gotta watch out for these young'ns
Trynna pay they bills
I swear to god
I liked it better back when I was broke
I'm paranoid
I gotta keep my eyes on all these folks
