Halfway through the first quarter of last night's Knicks vs Clippers game, Knicks legend Charles Oakley got into an altercation with security guards just a few rows behind New York's bench.
According to the New York Daily News' Frank Isola, Oakley was yelling at Knicks owner James Dolan and was warned to stop, which he didn't, and was then asked to leave the arena. Oak didn't go quietly and was later arrested outside of the arena by NYPD.
The tortured Knicks fan base cheered for Oakley during his ordeal and the hashtag #FreeOakley spread like wildfire throughout twitter after word of his arrest got out.
Even LeBron James showed love for the beloved enforcer last night, captioning a photo of Oakley on instagram, "Mood!! #Legend."
